Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare audit planning memorandum.
• Design Audit program.
• Assign and review audit tasks to junior staff.
• Head domestic tax engagement team.
• Head corporate governance advisory team.
• Supervise preparation of Tally accounting.

Personal attributes

• Human resource administrative skills.
• Ability to work under strict reporting deadlines.
• Ability to travel locally and abroad.
• Practical knowledge about domestic taxes.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CPA(K) or CPA(U).
• Bachelors degree.

Experience

• 5 years of audit and tax in a reputable audit firm.
• Working knowledge of Tally and Accounting.

• Ensuring the tax affairs of clients are up to date.
• Preparation of pre audit tax working papers.
• Represent the managing consultant with URA.
• Preparation of periodical VAT, PAYE and corporation tax returns.
• Post details of the tax return into tally accounting.

Personal attributes

• Working knowledge about VAT Act,
• Income Tax Act, Tax procedures Act.
• Ability to work under strict tax reporting deadlines.
• Ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Finalist CPA(U).
• Certificate in Tally Accounting.

Experience : 2 years
